Spanish Tutoring with Professionals is located in San Antonio, Texas. We are a company fueled by a passion for sharing the Spanish language and promoting bilingualism in the United States. We empower students to master Spanish regardless of their age, backgrounds or origins.
We truly believe that learning a second language can greatly improve one's quality of life, personally and professionally. Our students develop their intercultural competence, allowing them to communicate effectively with all members of the Hispanic community.
Meet the Team
CEO | FOUNDER
Eloina Gabriela Nolasco created STP in 2023 to solve the need for an effective learning method to learn Spanish in the United States. Her own language learning journey as an adult has given her valuable insights into the struggles that her students may face. Born, raised, and educated in Mexico, she also spent some time studying in Spain and Germany. Now living in Texas as her second home, she has observing the use of the Spanish in different contexts formal and familiar, and she has used that knowledge to create a unique and innovative approach to language learning.
Maestra Gaby has more than 15 years of teaching experience and has had the opportunity to work as a Language and Culture Facilitator with Peace Corps Mexico and many other fortune 500 companies. She earned a Bachelor's degree in "Latin American Literature" from Mexico, and a Master's degree in "Spanish as a Foreign Language" from Spain. She also is a certified examiner of Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) by Cervantes Institute.
Her experience has taught her that language learning is about immersing oneself in the language and culture to fully understand and appreciate its nuances. She believes that learning should be an engaging and enjoyable process, and STP Classes reflects that philosophy.
Her ultimate goal is to encourage each of STP students to become confident communicators in Spanish and reach their learning goals, using the language as a tool to connect people across cultures.
TEACHER DIRECTOR
Alma Esparza is an outstanding professional with over 12 years of experience as a Spanish teacher, forging a solid academic career that sets her apart.
She pursued a bachelor's degree in Spanish Language for Foreigners at the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ), Mexico, marking the beginning of her commitment to language instruction and the promotion of Mexican culture.
Subsequently, she earned a master's degree of Arts in Spanish Language from Western Michigan University (WMU) in the United States. During her time at WMU, she worked as a Spanish teacher, playing a key role in the linguistic education of students for two years. Furthermore, in her home country, she collaborated as a Language and Culture Facilitator in Peace Corps Mexico.
She has created instructional materials and designed curriculum programs for both Mexicans and non-Spanish speakers. She loves working with people from different countries and tailors each of her classes to the needs of the student.
OUR TEAM
STP TEAM is made up of a selected group of Mexican Teachers, each one has at least 5 years of experience in adult Spanish education. They have also received training to meet the standards of our classes and they follow our unique teaching methodology. If you take a class with one of them, we can guarantee your immediate satisfaction!
